Family Memory Care

Caring for someone with memory loss can be challenging without support.  Research has found that Family Memory Care can reduce your stress and increase the support you receive from your family.

Family Memory Care consultants:

  • Assess your situation and discuss your concerns.
  • Help you and your family understand memory loss and how the disease may progress over time.
  • Work with you and your family to develop a plan that best supports you.
  • Discuss strategies for coping with changes in personality and behavior.
  • Assist you in finding resources and helpful services.

Family Memory Care is a service for caregivers living with a family member with memory loss.

The timeline below illustrates the components and timing of the Family Memory Care service.  After 4 months, follow-up assessments are scheduled every4-month for the first year and every 6-month thereafter.  On-going support continues as needed.
